Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence hall exteriors, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe campus activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
