Operate extrusion machines to produce plastic or metal products according to established standards and guidelines
Monitor the extrusion process closely, making real-time adjustments to equipment settings to maintain product quality and output efficiency
Conduct regular quality checks on products being produced to ensure they meet required specifications and standards
Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or malfunctions that may arise during the production process to minimize downtime
Collaborate with the production team to coordinate material supply and ensure a steady flow of raw materials to the extrusion machines
Maintain accurate production records, including product counts, machine settings, and maintenance activities, to track productivity and identify opportunities for improvement
Comply with all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment and minimize workplace hazards
Assist in training new team members on the operation and maintenance of extrusion equipment
